Founding Artist

Jorge is a founding artist of Concrete Canvas Collective and as a Paper Engineer-Pop Up Architect specializes in paper cutting and pop-up paper structures. His work focuses on transforming flat paper into dimensional pieces through folding, cutting, and paper engineering.

Each piece is built by hand and designed individually, combining structure, patience, and creativity. His pop-up cards turn paper into moving scenes and layered designs, while his paper cutting focuses on precision, detail, and form.

As a founding artist of Concrete Canvas Collective, Jorge represents the idea that art does not require expensive materials or a studio, only time, patience, and imagination.

Paper Engineering

Jorge’s work centers around paper cutting and pop-up paper structures. Using folding, scoring, and cutting techniques, he turns flat sheets of paper into dimensional designs, moving cards, and folded sculptures. Each piece is built by hand and requires precision and patience to construct.

From Flat To Form

Every piece starts as a flat sheet of paper and becomes something else through folds, cuts, and structure. The goal is to turn simple paper into something people keep.
