Artists participate voluntarily and choose which original works they wish to submit for consideration. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, publication, promotion, or sale. Each submission is reviewed to ensure it aligns with the mission, quality standards, and values of Concrete Canvas Collective.

Participation is never conditioned on an artist surrendering ownership of their original work or creative rights.

Participating artists receive compensation from the sale of their work according to the compensation structure established by Concrete Canvas Collective. The applicable artist share, pricing terms, and any authorized deductions will be disclosed and agreed upon before artwork is offered for sale.

For incarcerated artists, payment methods and timing may be subject to correctional institution rules, approved payment channels, restitution obligations, or other legal and administrative requirements. When direct payment to an artist is restricted, Concrete Canvas Collective will work with the artist or their authorized representative to identify an appropriate and lawful method of payment.

Concrete Canvas Collective maintains records of artwork sales and amounts attributable to participating artists.

Artists retain ownership of the copyright and intellectual property rights in their original artwork unless otherwise agreed in writing.

When artwork is submitted and accepted for participation in Concrete Canvas Collective, the artist or their authorized representative grants the Collective permission to photograph, display, reproduce, publish, and promote images of the artwork as reasonably necessary to market the artist and offer the work for sale through the Collective.

This permission does not transfer copyright ownership to Concrete Canvas Collective. Any additional licensing, reproduction, merchandise, or commercial use of an artist’s work requires separate authorization from the artist or their authorized representative.

When an original artwork is sold, ownership of the physical artwork transfers to the purchaser. Copyright and other intellectual property rights remain with the artist unless expressly transferred in writing.

Original artwork featured by Concrete Canvas Collective remains protected by applicable copyright law. Artists retain the intellectual property rights to their work except where specific rights have been transferred through a separate written agreement.

Purchasing an original artwork does not grant the purchaser the right to reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, commercially exploit, or create derivative products from the artwork without permission from the copyright holder.

Concrete Canvas Collective's original website content, branding, logos, photography, graphics, written copy, designs, and other materials created by or for the Collective are also protected intellectual property and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially used without authorization.

We respect the intellectual property rights of artists and others. Questions or concerns regarding the ownership or authorized use of artwork displayed through the Collective may be submitted to us for review.
